Zhongxin Finance, February 15th. On the 15th, the China Consumers Association released a public opinion analysis report on consumer rights protection during the Spring Festival. The public opinion complained mainly about the fare.

The China Consumers Association commented that simply relying on fares is tantamount to exhausting the water.

The report shows that during the monitoring period, a total of 205,819 pieces of negative information about the "movie" category were collected, and daily public opinion complaints mainly pointed to ticket prices.

After the Spring Festival ticket price was widely complained about last year, the average ticket price of this year's Spring Festival gear has reached a new high, and many consumers who are willing to watch movies are discouraged by the high ticket price.

In this regard, the China Consumers Association stated that the structural problems of excess screens and content shortages in the film market, as well as various practical challenges due to the fluctuation of the epidemic and the impact of policies, forced theaters to ease the dilemma of tight cash flow by raising ticket prices, and stop the industry from short-term losses. It may be understandable from an angle, but the fact that the number of moviegoers has generally decreased and the frequency of moviegoing has continued to decline shows that simply relying on ticket prices is tantamount to exhausting the pond and quenching thirst.
