End of the truce between employers and the Government for the labor reform.
The opening of talks on updating the Interprofessional Minimum Wage (SMI) has led to a frontal and unanimous rejection by businessmen of Vice President Yolanda Díaz's proposal to raise the basic remuneration of employees to 1,000 euros in 2022.
CEOE has convened this afternoon an extraordinary committee to analyze the proposal made yesterday by the Government and the resolution has been withering.
Employers will not attend more meetings with Labor to discuss a measure that they consider inopportune.
They have rejected it unanimously, leaving Diaz a free path to agree with the unions but without the possibility of celebrating a new tripartite agreement in the social dialogue.
