In 2021, 1,901,239 simple hybrid vehicles were sold in Europe, compared to 1,901,191 diesel vehicles: the difference is only 48 units but this situation is a great first in the history of the automobile!

While the former made an increase of 60.5% in 2021, the latter fell by 31.5%.

These figures provided by the ACEA are relentless.

Diesel is slowly dying a beautiful death, while self-charging hybrids are gaining ground, as are all electrified vehicles (plug-in hybrids and electrics).
