The opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics is imminent, and skiing has also entered the public and has become a popular choice for many people's leisure and vacation.

Wang Han, a young man from Dalian who has been skiing for a week at Songhua Lake in Jilin, told Yicai that there are a lot of people in the ski resort recently, and he had a good time, "I like more people, and it is easy to make friends with fans. Let's see how well you ski. Well, there will be whistling and applause, and the atmosphere is great!"

Xu Xunjun, an architect living in Shanghai, just came back from Songhua Lake and Wanda Changbai Mountain Ski Resort. He was obviously full of things to talk about, and couldn't resist the urge to go skiing again.

"It's very addicting! Friends of our ski group, let's go. We will go to the Wuxi Skating Indoor Stadium this weekend, and we will go back and forth on the same day."

"300 million people on the ice and snow", the promise made by China in its bid for the Winter Olympics, is rapidly becoming a reality.

The driving effect of the Winter Olympics and the trend of ice and snow consumption and the development of the cultural tourism industry are now converging, and more and more people are attracted to ice and snow sports.

Getting Started is Addictive

Sun Yinrui, a senior tourism developer, told reporters that skiing is a very common social sport in many countries, and it has broken through the boundaries of niche hobbies in China.

Young people represented by the post-90s have regarded diving and skiing as "standard".

"In the past, mainly northerners skied, and now southerners also ski. It used to be winter skiing, but now it is also starting to ski off-season. Skiing has become popular and normalized, and it is not even necessary to ski on the snow."

In the Wanda Changbai Mountain International Resort, the maximum number of visitors in a single snow season reached 420,000. In the last snow season, despite the impact of the epidemic, there were still 260,000 visitors, with a revenue of 170 million yuan.

During the New Year's Day holiday this year, the Beidahu Ski Resort received a total of 26,000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 10%, and achieved tourism revenue of 11.3 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%. The average hotel occupancy rate reached 75%.

Also during the New Year's Day holiday, Vanke Songhua Lake Resort received 20,000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 33%, and achieved tourism revenue of 12.8 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50%.

The average hotel occupancy rate also exceeds 70%.

Corresponding to consumer demand, the number of ski resorts in my country has grown rapidly.

According to the "2020 China Ski Industry White Paper", the number of ski resorts in my country was 348 in 2012, 568 in 2015, and has increased to 715 by the end of 2020.

For consumers, choosing which ski resort to go to is a problem.

Wang Han usually lives and works in Shanghai. When he has time to go skiing in the north, he invites his friends to form a group and serves as a coach for everyone.

He hoped the public would not make the mistake of thinking that skiing was an expensive and difficult sport.

"The usual price for a senior coach is 3,500 yuan a day. I charge 1,500 yuan. I also pay for my ski tickets and accommodation." Wang Han is exploring and promoting new ski teaching concepts. He believes that more people come to experience it out of interest. In skiing, teaching should not be too rigid.

From the physical knowledge in technical movements to the understanding of sports culture, he believes that sharing these with snow friends will bring great fun to himself.

There are three main expenses for traveling to ski resorts: transportation, accommodation and skiing experience.

Among them, the air tickets and bus fees are relatively fixed, the grade of hotels and dining depends on personal preferences, and the snow tickets, equipment rental fees and coach fees required for skiing depend on the technical level of tourists.

Wang Han said frankly, "Skiing is indeed a money-burning sport, but it can also be cheap." The daily cost of meals is 100 yuan, 300 yuan a day for a B&B, and 400 to 500 yuan for snow tickets. 1000 RMB.

Salad dressing and Xu Xunjun have both purchased packages from tourist areas or distributors, and can get packaged discounts on air tickets, hotels and skiing.

Both of them will choose higher-end hotels and restaurants. "Otherwise, it will be really tiring to skate for a few days, so you need to eat and rest well," said Salad Sauce.

In the 2017-18 snow season, the Wanda Changbai Mountain four-day three-night all-inclusive package purchased by the salad dressing costs nearly 10,000 yuan.

Xu Xunjun went to Changbai Mountain and Songhua Lake for three days and two nights around New Year's Day this year, and the cost was about 9,000 yuan.

"The package with the group is very cost-effective." The chartered flight from Shanghai to Changbai Mountain, including the hotel, helped her save the tuition fee of hiring a coach for three days.

Ski Resort Upgrade

On January 19, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism released ten national ice and snow tourism boutique routes of "Building Dreams of Ice and Snow and Accompanying the Winter Olympics", covering "Ice and Snow Beijing Zhangzhou City of Winter Olympics", "A Date in Changbai, Skiing Vacation", "Snow Snow in China" The main force is the ski resorts located in the northern Beijing-Chongli region, Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces, and northern Xinjiang.

Sun Yinrui believes that there are three key factors in creating a good ski destination. First, the ski resort must be good, the supporting facilities must keep up, and the transportation must be convenient.

  Snow comes first, of course.

41 degrees north latitude is known as the "Golden Powder Snow Belt", and the world-renowned ski resorts Alps, Rocky Mountains, Hokkaido, Changbai Mountain and Altay in my country are all located at this latitude.

According to research, Altay is also the origin of human skiing.
