At the same time, the "Report" also stated that there are still many challenges to be overcome in pet insurance, and effective paths need to be explored and tested in practice.

The survey shows that at present, 75.6% of pet hospitals have not conducted any insurance cooperation with pet insurance companies or third-party institutions, and the proportion of pet hospitals that have carried out pet insurance and cooperated with insurance institutions is relatively low.

  The "Report" pointed out that the main problems currently faced by the domestic pet insurance market include: the risk management technology is relatively simple, and it fails to run through the entire life cycle of the product.

There are many pet species and individual differences are large. To distinguish pets and establish exclusive insurance files depends on the development of pet biometric information technology, but this field is still in its infancy.
