  In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the State Administration of Market Supervision, together with the Ministry of Public Security, the Health and Health Commission and other departments, launched a special campaign to crack down on the illegal manufacture and sale of masks and other protective products. A total of 46,000 cases were investigated and handled, with a fine of 720 million yuan.

On April 23, 2021, the State Administration for Market Regulation organized 16 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) to simultaneously destroy more than 2,000 tons of infringing and counterfeit goods, worth more than 700 million yuan, to prevent the re-circulation of infringing and counterfeit goods.
