Electrification is gaining ground with all manufacturers and even with the most exclusive of them.
This is the case of Lamborghini which will evolve to do without 100% thermal from next year.
In an interview with Automotive News Europe, Stephan Winkelmann, brand boss, said that the entire range will only have plug-in hybrid engines from 2024. Lamborghini will present 4 new models this year (including the restyled Urus) and gives itself the means to succeed since a development budget of 1.5 billion euros has been released for the electrification of its cars!
An info to be compared with another, published last summer: Lamborghini also let it be known that its engineers were developing a new V12 for the replacement of the Aventador.
A plug-in hybrid V12, then?
Seen like that, we validate.
