Andrey Konkov, deputy head of the Department of Taxation of Legal Entities of the department, spoke about this.

“Of course, the Federal Tax Service, as a control and supervisory authority, advocates that the channels for the movement of crypto assets be transparent,” TASS quoted Konkov as saying.

He noted that Russia's readiness for the technical support of the transparency of crypto assets is known.

“We have all the necessary tools, all the necessary technical solutions here and are applying them,” he added.

Earlier, the Central Bank announced possible measures to tighten regulation of the cryptocurrency market in Russia.

On January 25, Ivan Chebeskov, director of the financial policy department of the Russian Ministry of Finance, said that the Ministry of Finance is in favor of regulating cryptocurrency, not banning it.
