Alsace, this warm welcoming land for tourists.

The region has been awarded as "the most welcoming in France" for the third consecutive year.

An award given during the Traveler Review Awards 2022, the Booking.com competition which highlights the destinations with the highest percentage of award-winning accommodations.

It is therefore not a surprise that five Alsatian towns feature at the top of the ranking of French towns “rewarded for their warm welcome”.

Among them, Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé are at the top, respectively in first and second place ahead of Colmar (9th), Eguisheim (10th) and Kaysersberg (14th).

Note that these are all municipalities located in the Haut-Rhin.
