Takashi Kaiho, the first chairman of the former Daiwa Bank's president, Resona Holdings, died on the 12th of this month.

I was 84 years old.

Mr. Kaiho joined the Daiwa Bank at that time in 1959.


In 1995, following the resignation of the top management at that time in the case of a huge loss at the New York branch, he took office as president and responded to the financial crisis.


Then, while the reorganization of major banks continued, he served as the first chairman of "Resona Holdings," which was established in 2002 by a business integration with Asahi Bank.



The Japan Coast Guard died of prostate cancer on the 12th of this month.

The funeral has already been held only by close relatives, and the company will hold a farewell party at a later date.
