  Smart agriculture has become the trend of agricultural development.

Guo Lei, an associate researcher at the Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, analyzed the development environment of digital agriculture in China and introduced the application of technologies related to smart agriculture.

He believes that the national rural revitalization strategy, the integrated development of the entire agricultural industry chain, and the increasing number of high-quality and highly educated agricultural talents have all contributed to China's agricultural development.

  Jim Leandro P. Cano, a young entrepreneur in the Philippines, introduced new technologies applied in the field of agricultural consulting, such as the use of virtual reality (VR) technology to realize remote observation of farms, and the use of drone aerial photography technology to provide map mapping services.

The application of these innovative technologies will bring more possibilities for the development of the agricultural industry.

  Shi Yan, founder of Sharing Harvest Farm and co-chairman of the International Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Alliance, described her entrepreneurial experience in Beijing. She said that socialized agriculture is to mobilize social resources as much as possible to participate in it, and make agriculture a common place for farmers and citizens industry, so as to "make farmers an enviable profession".

  Doina Popusoi, an expert in agroecology from the United Nations International Fund for Agricultural Development, introduced the international community-supported agriculture (CSA) model by taking an agricultural project running in the suburbs of Rome as an example. She believes that this model is not only a new agricultural method, but also a youth people's new way of life.

  Abdel Bouraima from West Africa shared the application cases of modern agricultural technology and automatic irrigation systems in small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises in Cote d'Ivoire. He believes that although its agricultural products have a large market in West Africa, they still need to work hard to transform into an efficient and sustainable entrepreneurial agricultural system , and improve the speed of response to market demand.

  Agricultural innovation experts and youth representatives from 10 countries from China, India, Italy, the Philippines, Nepal, Saint Lucia, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Togo and Ghana participated in the meeting, and exchanged cutting-edge theoretical technologies and innovative and entrepreneurial practice cases in the agricultural field. Help and offer suggestions for the development of agricultural modernization and rural revitalization at home and abroad.

  The event was jointly sponsored by the Cultural Communication Center of the China International Publishing Administration and the Global Agricultural Development Youth Forum, and co-organized by the Overseas Agricultural Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Beijing European and American Alumni Association, and the China Net Culture Development Center.
