These maneuvers come as Iranian President Ebrahim Raissi has just made

an official visit to Russia

to strengthen relations between the two countries.

He notably announced that a twenty-year cooperation agreement will soon be signed between Tehran and Moscow.

A few days ago, Iran and China also announced the entry into force of a

25-year

strategic cooperation agreement

between the two countries.

Thus, the three countries are strengthening their relations and these military maneuvers which will last for three days also mark this rapprochement.

The most important maneuvers ever organized so far

Ships from the army navy and the Revolutionary Guards take part in these maneuvers which are the most important organized between the three countries.

They are taking place in the midst of

nuclear negotiations

in Vienna which, even in the West, are progressing very slowly.

They also intervene in the midst of tension between Russia and Western countries over Ukraine.

In any case, they show that Iran is now turning completely towards Russia and China and wants to strengthen its relations with these two countries, also targeted by the United States, in all areas.
