He also stressed that Binance takes its compliance obligations seriously and is committed to engaging with regulators.

“We will be glad to have a dialogue to discuss the abstracts of the advisory report and sincerely hope that the advisory report will initiate a dialogue between the Central Bank of Russia and representatives of the cryptocurrency market,” the representative said.

Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank sees significant risks for the Russian economy and financial stability due to the mining of cryptocurrencies in the country and is in favor of its ban.

Later, the director of the financial stability department of the Bank of Russia, Elizaveta Danilova, said that there were no plans for legislative restrictions for Russians to invest and own cryptocurrencies, they would be able to do this in foreign jurisdictions.
