In the customs declaration industry, Lin Jie, manager of Ningbo Port Southeast Logistics Group Co., Ltd., has an intuitive feeling: "From the perspective of customs declaration business, our company's customs declaration volume will increase significantly in 2021, an increase of 10% over the previous year."
As a major private economy city, Ningbo's private enterprises play the role of the main force in foreign trade.
Customs data show that this group will be more active in 2021.
"In the field of ultra-high-purity sputtering targets, we have successfully entered more than 300 manufacturing plants around the world, and we have also aimed at the industrial layout of equipment precision parts, CMP (wafer polishing) and other materials in the semiconductor industry chain, and the monthly sales volume has repeatedly broken. According to the relevant person in charge of Ningbo Customs, in 2021, the Customs will serve the construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative, give play to the role of the China-CEEC Customs Information Center, and accelerate the promotion of the access of food and agricultural products from the CEECs; "The new mode of supervision will boost the development of the international transit and consolidation business; accelerate the high-quality development of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, implement the "Four Self and One Simplification" supervision model, and continuously improve the level of openness.
On January 1 this year, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) entered into force for 6 ASEAN member states including Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as 10 countries including China, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
Statistics from Ningbo Customs show that in 2021, Ningbo's imports and exports to other RCEP member countries will be 312.34 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8% over the previous year, accounting for 26.2% of Ningbo's total import and export value over the same period.
"In 2021, our company's export business volume will increase significantly. Among them, the RCEP market will be 33 million US dollars, accounting for 13%, and the growth rate will be 26.69%." The relevant person in charge of Ningbo Youngor International Trade and Transportation Co., Ltd. said that with the implementation of the RCEP policy , the cost of its main export products can be reduced by 8% to 10%.
