Here is the "brain" in charge of power supply along the line, and eight "post-90s" female dispatchers keep it running smoothly.
Wang Sihan, born in 1992, is in charge of the "emergency station", which is the fifth Spring Festival she participated in.
During the 24 hours of the duty day, she has to stare at the screen, which shows the operation of the more than 3,800 kilometers of power lines. Signal instructions, ticketing systems, and production activities at the station all require electricity.
Jilin Province is equipped with three railway power supply sections, which govern 26 business lines including Shenji, Changtu, and Labin, accounting for more than half of the province.
Last year, the female dispatchers worked together to organize more than 1,100 constructions and more than 400 emergency responses.

Wang Sihan can use the power dispatching remote system to operate remotely and try "remote repair". She will judge the cause of the abnormality through values such as voltage and current changes, saving maintenance time for the front and reducing the impact on driving.

On her computer screen, neatly arranged unattended substations are under surveillance.
The climatic characteristics of the Northeast are a major test for the railway system. "Preventing the inclination of (electric poles) in spring, preventing floods in summer, preventing wind in autumn, and preventing snow in winter" is the focus of her work.
The team has been working together since 2017, and mutual cooperation has formed a tacit understanding.
Song Renping, who was born in 1990, boiled down to their familiarity with each other: all eight were from the same major at Beijing Jiaotong University, and seven were still classmates.
After working for several years, they have become wives and mothers, but they have been unable to reunite with their families during the Spring Festival for many years.
"The five couples among us are all railway workers, and it is the norm to gather less and leave more often. We have different divisions of labor, but as railway people, we all understand our responsibilities." Song Renping said.
The data provided by the power supply section shows that this "women's team" has undertaken the workload of the original 102 power distribution duty officers, further optimizing the operation quality.
