Data show that many places have maintained growth in major trading partners.
In 2021, the total import and export value of goods trade in Hubei Province will be 537.44 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 24.8% over the same period last year and a 36.2% increase over the same period in 2019. The scale of imports and exports will exceed 530 billion yuan, a record high.
The Hubei provincial government recently introduced the province's foreign trade import and export situation.
ASEAN, the United States, and the European Union are Hubei's top three trading partners. Hubei's imports and exports to the above trading partners were 74.37 billion yuan, 72.16 billion yuan and 69.45 billion yuan, up 34.1%, 26.1% and 16.6% respectively.
In addition, economic and trade cooperation with emerging markets continued to deepen, and imports and exports to emerging markets in Latin America and Africa increased by 64.5% and 38.2% respectively.
The data shows that in 2021, Hubei Province will have 7,278 enterprises with actual import and export performance, including 6,361 private enterprises, accounting for 87.4% of the total number of enterprises.
The import and export of private enterprises was 325.51 billion yuan, accounting for 60.6% of the province's total foreign trade value.
According to the information released at the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth People's Congress of Anhui Province, in 2021, the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone) is expected to achieve a total import and export volume of about 150 billion yuan.
