The Shanxi Provincial Public Security Department's Traffic Management Bureau predicted on the 13th that during the Spring Festival travel period, Shanxi's coal transportation will not be reduced, and the flow of trucks will increase compared with previous years.
In this regard, Feng Dongbin, general manager of the consulting and information department of China Coal Resources Network, said that although China's main coal producing areas will usher in the Spring Festival holiday, safety inspections, etc., the coal supply is still sufficient.
Recently, affected by the fluctuation of the external market, domestic coal prices have reacted to a certain extent.
Feng Dongbin said, "In the short term, the coal spot will rise to a certain extent, but the impact on futures prices will be limited."
"From the perspective of weather factors, the demand for heating has gradually decreased. After February, coal consumption will accelerate to fall."
