  According to the introduction of China Railway 16th Bureau Group, the newly built Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway, also known as Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway, starts from Fuzhou City, Fujian Province in the north, passes through Putian City, Quanzhou City, and reaches Xiamen City and Zhangzhou City in the south, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is also the first cross-sea high-speed railway in China.

  Among them, the Mulanxi Bridge is located on the banks of the Mulanxi River in Putian City, Fujian Province, with a total length of 18,746.92 meters. It is one of the most difficult and controllable projects in the whole line. The form of a pull bridge crosses the Shenhai Expressway twice.

  After the completion of the main girder, the bridge is about to carry out the construction of the bridge deck and ballastless track, which will lay a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the new Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway in 2023.
