Over the year, the number of employees under 30 years old in Russia decreased by 460 thousand

This is reported by RBC with reference to the data of the audit and consulting network FinExpertiza, based on information from Rosstat.

It is noted that from September 2020 to September 2021, the number of working Russians between the ages of 20 and 29, the most efficient category of young people, has decreased by 460.5 thousand people.

At the same time, the total number of employees in all age groups during the same period increased by 1.84 million - up to 72.3 million people.

In December 2021, at a large press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that due to demographic problems in Russia there is a shortage of workers.
