Recently, the "DIMOO Co-branded Blind Box Package" jointly launched by KFC and Bubble Mart, a blind box seller, has aroused consumers' panic buying and widespread attention from the society.

According to KFC staff, the "blind box package" was sold out on the day it was launched.

According to the sales rules, in order to collect a complete set of dolls, at least 6 sets of packages need to be purchased. Some consumers do not hesitate to spend 10,494 yuan to buy 106 sets of packages at one time; there are also consumers who buy "food for baby" service.

In response to this phenomenon, the China Consumers Association believes that KFC, as a food operator, uses limited-edition blind box sales to induce and condone consumers' irrational and excessive purchase of food packages, which is contrary to public order, good customs and the spirit of the law.

The China Consumers Association advocates that consumers actively establish a correct consumption concept and jointly resist blind consumption and impulsive consumption.
