In 2021, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory will deliver a total of 484,130 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 235%, of which more than 160,000 vehicles will be delivered to overseas markets, meeting the needs of more than 10 countries including Europe and Asia.
It is worth mentioning that Tesla’s global delivery in 2021 will be 936,000 vehicles, and the Shanghai Gigafactory will account for 51.7%, accounting for “half of Tesla’s global deliveries”.
Tesla said that thanks to its high level of intelligence, digitization and a localization rate of parts as high as 86%, the production capacity of the Shanghai Gigafactory will be further improved in 2021. In the third quarter of 2021, the Shanghai Gigafactory Model 3 and Model Y quarters. Production also surpassed the Fremont, California plant for the first time.

Tesla develops software, hardware, processes and technologies in China, undertakes application adaptation and standard testing in the Chinese market, and participates in global AI machine learning-related research and development.
The Shanghai Gigafactory data center is used to store Chinese operational data such as factory production.
