Employment The year 2021 closes with 776,000 more jobs but 3.1 million people are still unemployed
Spain continues to be the country in the entire European Union with the highest unemployment rate.
According to the data that Eurostat has published this Monday, the 14.1% in which it closed last November exceeds the figures of any other European economy and only Greece, with 13.4%, is close to the Spanish figure.
But it is also that, and despite the pull that employment registered during the past year, this data doubles the European averages: in the Eurozone as a whole, the figure is 7.2%, while in the EU the figure is reduced to 6.5%.
