It is revealed that the amount stolen by an employee of Osstem Implant, who was arrested on charges of embezzling a large amount of company money, reached 220 billion won, an increase from the original estimate. Police seized an additional 250 kg of gold bars from the employee's family home.

night (10th), the police seized and searched the house of Osstem Implant employee Lee Mo's wife, father, and sister, respectively.
Among them, 254 1kg gold bars were found and confiscated at Lee's father's house.
With this, the police secured a total of 755 out of 851 gold bars that Mr. Lee bought with the company money he embezzled.
Lee's total amount of embezzlement has increased to 221.5 billion won.
Osstem Implant made an additional announcement yesterday saying that as a result of its own investigation, Mr. Lee had withdrawn and returned company money in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The explanation is that there was embezzlement of 23.5 billion won in the fourth quarter of 2020, 55 billion won from March to September last year, and 143 billion won in October.
The police believe that the last 143 billion won was embezzled to pay for receivable transactions, that is, shares of Dongjin Semicam bought on credit.
As the police stated that Mr. Lee embezzled funds under the direction of superiors and even spoke with the chairman, the police received an internal CCTV of the company arbitrarily and analyzed it to check whether the company actually intervened.
The police also secured 7 cell phones used by Mr. Lee and are intensively looking for accomplices in conspiring to embezzle him.
