Marketed from 2023, the electric Chevrolet Silverado will be very different from the current thermal model (which will continue its career in parallel), since it will be based on a specific platform, identical to that of the Hummer.
Available only in a double cab version, it will also be less massive than the classic Silverado, with new features such as its closed grille.
For its launch, Chevrolet will offer a version of 517 hp and 834 Nm, with a range of 640 km.
Capable of towing 3.629 kg in the standard version, it can even go up to 9.072 kg with the Tow Package!
Even more impressive will be the top-of-the-range version, which will develop 673 hp and 1,056 Nm. Capable of going from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, this version will provide acceleration worthy of a muscle car.
Other more affordable and less powerful versions are also planned later.
After the Ford, it is therefore the second electric pick-up that will be marketed long before ... the Tesla Cybertruck, which continues to be delayed.
