  At the beginning of 2022, 82 major projects in Shanghai Pudong New Area will start construction, with a total investment of 317.6 billion yuan (RMB, the same below).

  According to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Shanghai has a thriving industrial innovation ecosystem, which has gathered more than 50% of the country's 5G talents, more than 40% of integrated circuit chip talents, and more than 30% of artificial intelligence talents.

In addition, 18 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies and 17 of the top 20 medical device companies have settled in Shanghai.
