China News Service, Hechi, January 5 (Mo Yujie, Mo Xiaobin, Zhou Bochen) One tunnel passes through two provinces, and the moat becomes a thoroughfare.

At 8:18 on January 5, the Guinan High-speed Railway passed through the Jiuwandashan No. 2 Tunnel in Guizhou and Guizhou Provinces and safely passed through.

So far, 44 tunnels to be constructed in the Guangxi section of the Guinan high-speed railway have successfully penetrated 40, accounting for more than 90%.

The 6199-meter-long Guinan High-speed Railway Jiuwandashan No. 2 Tunnel is located at the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. The location is a typical karst karst mountain area, with complex geological conditions, and there are dangerous factors such as mud outburst, landslide deformation, underground rivers, toxic and harmful gases during the construction process.

In order to ensure construction safety, Yungui Railway Guangxi Company and China Railway 18th Bureau Group have always followed the principles of "weak blasting, short footage, strong support, and diligent measurement" to implement leadership-driven operations for important processes, and focus on controlling blasting operations and work. Key processes such as surface risk removal and advance support, etc., advance the tunneling work in a safe and orderly manner.

Since the start of the tunnel in August 2018, the construction unit has successively invested 88 sets of large-scale tooling equipment, 731 construction personnel, and excavated a total of 3 working faces, digging forward at a speed of 8 meters per day, and achieving penetration as scheduled.

The Jiuwandashan No. 2 Tunnel is adjacent to Guizhou Maolan National Nature Reserve and Guangxi Mulun Karst Nature Reserve, which are known as the "Emerald on the Belt of the Earth". The protected area has dense vegetation, rich water systems and frequent animal activities. High environmental protection requirements have brought many technical challenges to tunnel construction.

The construction unit earnestly implemented the development concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains". During the construction of the tunnel, a sewage treatment tank was specially set up to collect and treat the waste water generated from the construction, and discharge after reaching the discharge standard; mix the concrete The production lines of silos such as stations and steel structure factories are all closed and managed. The construction roads are sprayed on time every day to reduce dust, and special personnel are arranged to clean construction vehicles in and out to reduce the impact of construction dust on the environment.

In addition, the construction unit arranges blasting holes and blasting operations during the day to reduce the interference of construction noise on animals in the protected area.

Since the construction of the tunnel, no environmental pollution complaint has been received.

The Guinan High-speed Railway runs through northwestern Guangxi and southeastern Guizhou. It is the first high-speed railway in Guangxi with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

At present, 96.3% and 94.4% of the design total of the roadbed earth and stone and bridge projects of the Guangxi section of the railway have been completed respectively, and the ballastless track project has been fully launched.

The entire line is expected to open and operate in 2023. By then, the travel time from Nanning to Guiyang will be shortened from the current five hours to about two hours, which is of great significance to promote the deep integration of transportation, logistics, commerce and industry in Guizhou and Guizhou provinces.
