In detail, data from the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai showed that the emirate received 6.02 million international tourists during the first 11 months of last year.

According to the data, India came at the forefront of the exporting markets for international visitors to Dubai during the period between January and November of 2021, registering more than 794,000 visitors, followed by Saudi Arabia with about 391,000 visitors, while the total number of visitors from Russia reached about 374,000 visitors. The occupancy rate in all hotel establishments in the emirate during the first 11 months of last year was 66%.

The data showed an increase in the period of stay of guests during the period between January and November of the year 2021 to 4.6 hotel nights, compared to 4.2 nights in the same period of the year 2020, while the number of nights (reserved rooms) reached 28.19 million nights, compared to 17.78 million in the corresponding period, with a growth rate. It reached 58.5%.

The average daily price of a hotel room was 418 dirhams, compared to 329 dirhams in the corresponding period, with the return on available rooms recording about 275 dirhams, compared to 172 dirhams.

Europe ranked first in terms of the source of visitors to Dubai, according to the geographical region, having acquired 21% of the total number of visitors, during the period between January and November of 2021, followed by South Asia with 18%, Russia and the Association of Countries Independent by 16%.

The share of the Middle East and North Africa region reached 14% of the total number of visitors, while the Arab Gulf countries recorded 12%, Africa 8%, America 7%, and the countries of North and Southeast Asia 4%.
