China News Service, Xiamen, January 6 (Reporter Yan Xulin Chunyin) At the beginning of the new year, one of the three largest meteor showers in the northern hemisphere-the Quadrantid meteor shower is in an active period.

At 4 o'clock in the morning on the 4th, a meteor pierced the night sky.

More than a dozen astronomical telescopes and cameras are focused at the same time at the Guanxingping Ping of Qicaichi, the highest point in Xiamen City, Fujian Province.

"Romantic? This is the romance of star-chaser." Gao Delian, a villager in Junying Village, Lianhua Town, Tongan District, Xiamen, who participated in the operation of the stargazing spot here, said with a smile to a reporter from China News Agency.

Born in 1997, Gao Deliang has a simple personality and dressed up as a "local", but the Wu Jiu Er B&B in the military camp village he runs is known for its "romance".

This contrast makes him bring his own cute spots on social media, with more than 100,000 fans.

Different from the coastal city and modern urban scenery of Xiamen Special Economic Zone, Xiamen Military Camp Village has an average elevation of nearly one thousand meters. It is a rare "high mountain village" in the Special Economic Zone.

Over the past 30 years, the concept of "wearing a hat on the mountain, developing under the mountain" and "poverty alleviation" has run through the local development blueprint. .

By the time Gao Deliang graduated from University, the military camp village homestay was already small.

The guy who loves astronomy has launched a "stargazing package", which brings a "new meaning" to the homestay.

The "star-gazing economy" in the military camp village became popular for a while, "even winter has become a peak season, and room reservations are only available more than a month in advance."

  What is country romance?

Different from Gao Delian's understanding of "starlight", Gao Meiling, a peer of Gao Deliang, thinks it is the "light" of the barracks village.

Gao Meiling also converted her quaint Minnan old house into a homestay.

She was "down the mountain" in junior high school, and then went to Jingdezhen, Jiangxi to study, and had been away for more than ten years.

When I was a child, my grandma had nothing but leisure at night, and walked with her relatives behind her back.

"There is no light, I will flash the flashlight to show my grandma the road", she recalled, the thatch on the mountain road is higher than the head, only the fireflies dot the stars, "I am afraid of the dark and warm."

When I returned to my hometown, the military camp village was illuminated everywhere, and even the cornices of the ancient house were equipped with landscape lights, which were bright and poetic.

But Gao Meiling gave up her job as an interior designer in the city and returned to her hometown, and had two quarrels with her grandpa.

Grandpa neither accepts that his beloved granddaughter will return home after studying in college, nor does he agree to demolish the attic of the old house into a glass house.

"The house is built, the guests come to the door, everything calms down." Mei Ling said with a smile, now grandpa introduces blueberries and crisp peaches in the orchard, and there is a fashionable new name for farm work, "responsible for'drainage' with pastoral pleasure."

In 2020, the Military Camp will establish the Returning Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance.

Su Haiting, deputy secretary of the Party branch of Xiamen Junying Village, said that the Returning Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance promotes intensive management of homestays, promotes agricultural varieties, and integrates production and sales, attracting more than 50 young people back to their hometowns.

In the live broadcast room of the Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance Base, Gao Meiling and Gao Delian regularly partnered to bring goods such as tea and dried sweet potatoes in the military camp.

"Some people have IP, which effectively solves the problem of insufficient endogenous motivation in rural revitalization." Su Haiting said that in 2020, the per capita annual income of military camp villages has increased from more than 200 yuan in the early 1980s to 41665 yuan.

Nowadays, the barracks village is becoming more and more "personal."

Gao Zhiyun, a "post-90s" villager, went to study at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan and opened a ceramic shop in Taipei and Xiamen. Now he has returned to his hometown to build his old house into a "literary space", selling Taiwan Tianmu cups and Fujian Jianzhan. , Tasting Taiwan high mountain tea and Tieguanyin from my father’s generation.

"When I first came back to decorate the courtyard, the villagers laughed at me. Everyone grows vegetables in front of the door. Only you grow grass." Gao Zhiyun said with a smile.

"Why go home?" Su Haiting is also a young man who has returned to his hometown. He has two factories in Xiamen. "We understand the market and have ideas. The village needs us." (End)
