Elon Musk earns more than 30 billion dollars in one day

Elon Musk, the world's richest man, added more billions of dollars to his fortune, after the Tesla company, the electric car maker that he founded and headed, announced record results during the last quarter of last year.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk's fortune increased by about $30.5 billion on Monday, after the Tesla share price rose by 12.2% to $1,186.31 in the trading of "Wall Street" in New York.

Over the past year, Tesla's stock has risen by nearly 50%, bringing the company's total market value to more than $1 trillion.

Musk owns approximately 18% of Tesla shares.

Since last November, he has sold a quantity of the company's shares worth more than 10 billion dollars, as part of his plan to reduce his stake in the company by 10% and to obtain cash to pay his tax obligations.

And Musk's fortune reached $ 340 billion last year, to have a net worth after calculating the inflation rate, which was previously owned only by the wealthy American John Rockefeller.

Elon Musk has put an end to speculation and controversy over his historic deal to sell part of his stake in Tesla, after declaring that he would pay more than $11 billion in taxes this year.

In a message on Twitter, Musk said, "To those amazed, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year," the largest single tax payment in US history.
