Still in business today, the French company Dangel was founded in 1980 with the aim of transforming Peugeot into 4x4s.

The first model to have been modified by the brand, the Peugeot 505 was only produced in 5,000 units in an off-road version.

Most often, the Dangel versions were sold to communities or to companies active in inaccessible areas.

Rarer still, the 505 station wagon was built only 500 copies.

This is one of them that is currently for sale at the Italian professional Ruote da Sogno.

Sold new to the Libyan Embassy which used it for a few trips to the country then ruled by Gaddafi, it changed hands in 2014 and was restored in Italy.

With a ground clearance of 22 cm and a 5-speed gearbox with short ratios adapted to the 4x4, it can move in 60 cm of water.

The engine is a 2 liter petrol producing 98 hp.

This rarity is offered for sale at an impressive price of… 59,000 €!
