Called "Flachbau" ("flat nose" in the language of Goethe), an option proposed by Porsche allowed the 911 Turbo to receive a new front, which was characterized by its retractable headlights and its pointed, flat muzzle.
The car, lower than the standard version, also received widened wheel arches, giving it an incredible look.
This configuration was unfortunately far from being given, and only 29 examples of the 930 Turbo Targa with these characteristics were sold between 1987 and 1989. One of them will soon be offered for auction by RM Sotheby's, during a sale organized at the end of January in Phoenix, USA.
Having traveled only 13,000 km since its delivery in 1989, this red racing car with a tobacco-colored interior will certainly interest many enthusiasts of the German brand around the world.
