The export destination countries include Japan, Australia and other effective member countries, involving an export value of 12 million U.S. dollars, and it is expected that tariff reductions and exemptions for enterprises will be 180,000 U.S. dollars.

  The Ningbo Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Zhejiang Province issued the first batch of 4 certificates of origin for 4 companies including Ningbo Haitian Holding Group Co., Ltd. The exporting countries are Australia and Japan respectively, and the tariff reduction and exemption are about US$1606.45.

Zhejiang Liansheng Chemical Co., Ltd. also obtained two RCEP certificates of origin issued by Taizhou Customs on the 1st. There are two batches of methylpyrrolidone exported to Japan this time, with a value of 6,112,800 yuan (RMB, the same below). Decline from 3.9% to 3.5%.

  Qingdao Customs issued a certificate of origin for more than 2,800 tons of calcium chloride exported by Qingdao Gulf Group Co., Ltd. to Japan at 0:00 on the 1st.

"With this certificate, the tariff rate paid after the goods arrive in Japan is reduced from 3.3% to 3%." Liu Kun, the business manager of Qingdao Gulf Group Co., Ltd., said that the tax reduction for this batch of goods alone is estimated to be nearly 10,000 yuan. The company's exports to Japan will increase by about 10% year-on-year.

  Shantou Customs issued the first single certificate of origin for Guangdong Haoye Blue and White Porcelain Co., Ltd. on the 1st.

With the latest certificate, the company's batch of daily-use porcelain with a value of 122,500 yuan will enter the Japanese market with a more favorable tariff reduction.

  Haikou Port Customs, a subsidiary of Haikou Customs, issued the first certificate of origin for Hainan Yanghang Industrial Co., Ltd. on the 1st. A batch of aluminum sulfate worth 46,301 yuan will enjoy zero-tariff treatment in Japan, with tax reductions of about 2315 yuan.

  On November 2, 2021, the ASEAN Secretariat, the depository of RCEP, issued a notice announcing that Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and 6 ASEAN member states and 4 non-ASEAN member states including China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand have issued The Secretary-General of ASEAN formally submitted the approval letter and reached the threshold for the agreement to enter into force.

According to the agreement, RCEP will enter into force for the ten countries mentioned above on January 1, 2022.

  The Council for the Promotion of International Trade stated that after the RCEP takes effect, more than 90% of the trade in goods between approved members will eventually achieve zero tariffs, which means that countries will fulfill their commitments on the liberalization of physical trade in a relatively short period of time, which will greatly enhance the level of regional economic integration in East Asia.
