The scale of the information industry has grown rapidly.
On November 10, 2021, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for the Deep Integration of Informatization and Industrialization of Hebei Province" (referred to as the "Plan").
The "Plan" proposes that by 2025, the new generation of information technology such as the Internet, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and other in-depth integration of information technology and manufacturing will achieve significant results. The proportion of key business links in industrial enterprises will reach 50%, and the key industries will be intelligent. The manufacturing level has been greatly improved, and the numerical control rate of key processes has reached 63%, which continues to maintain the forefront of the country, and integrated development has become an important engine for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the high-quality development of the industrial economy.
The "Plan" clarifies the establishment of the foundation of the industrial Internet, the "cultivation of excellence and strong support" for industrial digitalization, the "cloud of 100,000 enterprises", the cultivation of industrial Internet advantageous service enterprises, the promotion of industrial e-commerce, the digital transformation of industrial clusters, and the collaboration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei industrial Internet Eight major projects such as the construction of development demonstration zones and the enhancement of digital support capabilities.
In addition, during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, Hebei has built 23,000 5G base stations, realizing 5G network coverage in the province's districts and cities, the main urban area of Xiong'an New Area, and the Zhangjiakou competition area of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
