According to the news released by the National Development and Reform Commission of China on December 31, according to the recent changes in oil prices in the international market and in accordance with the current refined oil price formation mechanism, starting from 24:00 on the 31st, domestic gasoline and diesel prices will increase by RMB 140 and per ton respectively. 135 yuan.

Wang Luqing, a refined oil analyst at Zhuo Chuang Information, pointed out that after the price adjustment is implemented, the cost of consumer oil will increase slightly.

Take a family car with a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters as an example. A full tank of 92 gasoline will cost 5.5 yuan more, and 95 gasoline will cost 6 yuan more.

In terms of fuel consumption, take a small private car that runs 2,000 kilometers per month and consumes 8 liters per 100 kilometers as an example. Before the next price adjustment window opens (at 24:00 on January 17, 2022), consumer fuel costs will increase by 10 yuan about.

Regarding the reasons for the increase in oil prices, Wang Luqing analyzed that the market's expectations of Omi Keron to curb demand have weakened, and the increase in holiday travel has boosted demand in the oil market.

At the same time, U.S. crude oil and refined oil inventories fell across the board, strengthening the tight supply and demand pattern in the oil market, and international oil prices fluctuated upward.

In 2021, the domestic retail price limit of refined oil has gone through 25 price adjustment windows, of which 15 were raised, 6 were lowered, and 4 were stranded.
