On December 30, the northern section of the first phase of Shanghai Metro Line 14 and Line 18 was officially opened, and the total length of the Shanghai Metro reached 831 kilometers.
After the opening of the two lines, the number of Shanghai subway lines increased to 20, the number of operating stations increased to 508, and the number of interchange stations increased to 83.
With the opening of Line 14, the number of unmanned lines on the Shanghai Metro has reached five.
In this regard, Shanghai Metro has three "world firsts": the operating mileage, the world's first; the number of trains, the world's first; the scale of fully automated driving, the world's first.
