China News Service, Xi'an, December 29 (Reporter Dang Tianye) Recently, the epidemic prevention and control situation in Xi'an has been complicated and severe, and the level of prevention and control has been further improved.

In addition to participating in nucleic acid sampling, people are required to insist on not leaving their homes and gatherings; non-epidemic prevention and control and people's livelihood protection vehicles are not allowed on the road, etc.

So far, how to protect the people's "vegetable basket" problem?

With doubts, the reporter visited Xi'an for days.

On December 29, due to vehicle control, the reporter rode a bicycle to a supermarket in the Lianhu District of Xi'an City.

In front of many shelves, the staff is busy replenishing and packing.

The reporter saw that there was a complete variety of fruits and vegetables, meat, aquatic products, and snacks in the supermarket.

The supermarket staff told reporters that the current supply of supermarket goods is sufficient.

After the outbreak, supermarket online orders have surged, and they have been close to saturation in recent days. They are adding more staff to deliver delivery services.

The reporter learned that with the continuous adjustment of Xi'an's epidemic prevention and control work, the procurement policy of one person out of 2 days has been suspended.

Not being able to go out to buy groceries has become part of the difficulty.

In order to resolve this matter, Xi'an has organized personnel to provide home delivery services for the people.

"Now the citizens can't go out. We made a decision overnight to prepare to pack the goods and deliver them to the customers in our community." Mu Huanhuan, a staff member of the RT-Mart Supermarket in Xi'an, said that the supermarket has prepared the first batch of supplies and will arrange it today. The personnel were delivered to the door.

In front of the reporter, the staff showed the vegetable bag that will be sent to the nearby community, which contains onions, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage and other home-cooked ingredients.

According to the staff, they matched the dishes today to meet the daily needs of a family of three for three days.

Fu Ruixia, a staff member of the supermarket, said that he is responsible for the replenishment work. Recently, in order to ensure the supply of vegetables, he has to work more than ten hours a day.

"Everyone is working overtime, so that the citizens can eat our food as soon as possible."

The reporter then followed the supermarket staff to the nearby community to deliver food.

At the gate of a community, people are lining up to receive vegetable packs.

For many people, these inconspicuous ingredients have now alleviated the "urgency".

"I learned from my friends that many places in Xi'an now organize door-to-door delivery and deliver food directly to us. I am very grateful to these staff." Mr. Zhu, a citizen of Xi'an, believes that the current livelihood issues are related to the government and society. With the efforts of all walks of life, improvements will be gradually made, and everyone will surely be able to tide over the difficulties.

According to Xi'an official introduction, 38 commercial enterprises with strong community distribution capabilities have been sorted out in time, and through video conferences overnight, they have mobilized enterprises to quickly cooperate with the government to develop community distribution services under the premise of implementing epidemic prevention and control measures.

Starting in the afternoon of December 28, various districts, counties, and development zones in Xi'an have successively started organizing the distribution of vegetables and other daily necessities.
