An article titled "Putin Increases Pressure on Germany" indicates that the Federal Republic of Germany is suffering from higher gas prices.

According to RIA Novosti, readers of Der Spiegel noted that the burden for subsidizing the Ukrainian budget is carried out at the expense of the German consumer.

In the comments, they expressed dissatisfaction that Germany is responsible for the increase in transit fees for Ukraine, when "there is a much cheaper transport route."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the launch of Nord Stream 2 would stabilize gas prices in Europe.

He also noted that Russia has the ability to increase gas supplies to the West.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the energy security of Ukraine is not threatened by Russia, but by the dysfunction of the state system and paralysis of the authorities due to the destruction of the national interests of the state by the West.
