Strengthen the construction of the international medical service system

  Beijing will focus on the introduction of high-level international medical resources, plan to build a number of international hospitals with demonstration effects in key areas, introduce international high-level operation and management teams, and improve the level of international service capabilities.

  At the same time, deepen the regional pilot projects in Chaoyang District, Haidian District, Daxing District, Huairou District, Changping District, Shunyi District, and implement Peking Union Medical College Hospital, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Guang'anmen Hospital, Beijing United Family Hospitals, Beijing Shanfang Hospital, General Administration of Customs (Beijing) International Travel Health Care Center and other medical institutions are pilot projects to promote the integration of processes, services, and environment with international standards.

  Beijing will support pilot hospitals to carry out international medical service management certification and international commercial insurance certification, and promote cooperation and docking between commercial insurance and medical institutions.

Actively do a good job in supporting the implementation of supporting international medical services and medical insurance policies, promote the effective connection of commercial health insurance and basic medical insurance, give more convenient treatment and protection to patients, strengthen the tracking and monitoring of policy implementation, and promote the sustainable development of international medical services.

Promote a higher level of opening up in the medical field

Strengthen the construction of international medical consortia, improve the consultation and referral system and the construction of green channels, and support the development of cross-border telemedicine.

  The person in charge said that Beijing will also actively strive for the establishment of wholly-owned hospitals and other open and innovative pilot policies to be implemented in Beijing.
