Until recently, Suzuki's “Hybrid” models were satisfied with a light hybridization mainly used for starting.

The brand recently took it up a notch, however, with the Swace and the Across, two rebadged Toyota hybrid models.

For the Vitara, Suzuki once again takes advantage of its partnership with Toyota, and renames the well-known hybrid system Dualjet, which combines a 1.5 petrol 4-cylinder engine with a 24 kW electric powertrain, all developing a combined power of 115 hp.

Equipped with an automatic gearbox, this version will be able to receive Allgrip all-wheel drive as an option.
