The evaluation of the natural oxygen bar has been officially launched since 2016 and is carried out every year once.
Voluntary declaration of areas that meet the basic conditions, the Public Meteorological Service Center of China Meteorological Administration, according to the evaluation criteria, organizes a comprehensive evaluation of the ecological environment quality, tourism climate resources, ecological protection, ecological development and supporting conditions of tourist facilities in the declared area, and passes the review The region was awarded the title of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar" by the China Meteorological Administration.
This year, a total of 82 regions in China have declared China's natural oxygen bar.
After review, 56 regions including Miyun District in Beijing were awarded the title of China's Natural Oxygen Bar.
As of the end of 2021, there are 249 natural oxygen bar regions in China covering 27 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country.
Chen Yunfeng said that China's natural oxygen bar brand has significantly improved its benefits, which has effectively promoted the economic and social development of various regions.
In terms of economic benefits, despite the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the size of the national tourism market has generally declined in the past two years, but the number of tourists and tourism revenue of China's natural oxygen bar from 2018 to 2020 have increased against the trend in half of the regions.
Among them, Xinjiang Turks tourism revenue growth rate reached 128%, Henan Xinxian and Hunan Jianghua increased by 109% and 104% respectively.
