Dadonghai, one of Sanya's iconic scenic spots, is currently in a state of "closed renovation and upgrading".
The reporter saw at the reconstruction site of Dadonghai Scenic Area on December 28 that all the coastal lines had been blocked and the boardwalk near the beach had been removed.
According to the announcement issued by the People's Government of Jiyang District, Sanya City, the closed construction area extends from Dadonghai Square in the east, the sea in the south, Shanhaitian Hotel in the west, and Donghai Road in the north.
The closed construction period will be from December 20, 2021 to the end of the project.
During the closed construction period of the scenic spot, citizens and tourists can walk from Dadonghai Square in the east and Mingyue Square in the west to enter the beach for sightseeing.
