China World Tower, Diwang Tower, Kingkey 100, Ping An International Financial Center...On the coast of the South China Sea, in the young city of Shenzhen, the super-tall buildings are extremely proud of the citizens and attract the attention of the world.

And these buildings are closely related to one person-Lu Jianxin.

Lu Jianxin, Chief Engineer of South China Region of China State Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation.

He has been in the industry for nearly 40 years and has worked in 8 cities at home and abroad, participating in the construction of 46 projects, with a total height of more than 3,600 meters.

He has developed a series of internationally leading or advanced steel structure construction technologies, and has gradually grown into an expert in the field of steel structure construction, and he is therefore known as the "first person in China's skyscrapers".

Among them, 11 scientific and technological achievements completed under the auspices of Lu Jianxin have been identified as reaching the international leading or advanced level, and one achievement won the gold medal of special commendation at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

He presided over and participated in the completion of more than 400 national patents, and the achievements he participated in won 4 National Science and Technology Progress Awards, and he personally won 1 National Science and Technology Progress Award.

In an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency recently, Lu Jianxin said that focus and innovation are his perception of the spirit of an engineer.

Lu Jianxin not only witnessed the "tallest" buildings in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, he was also a participant and builder of the "three-day speed of one building".

Lu Jianxin was born in the 1960s. After graduating from Nanjing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture (now Nanjing University of Technology) in 1982, he entered the China Construction Third Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and started as a grassroots surveyor in the construction industry. Get married.

"My parents are farming, but my younger brother, my wife's four sisters and brother-in-law, and the next generation of nephews and nieces are all engaged in work related to the construction industry. And my hometown of Nantong, Jiangsu is also known as the hometown of construction. "

For 39 years in the industry, Lu Jianxin has left his beautiful years on super-high buildings.

Even for the project 30 years ago, he still talked about the unforgettable details in the process.

Lu Jianxin said: “The Shenzhen International Trade Project is the first super high-rise building in China, creating a'three-day one-story' Shenzhen speed. But it didn't go well at the beginning. It experienced three failures of sliding formwork before and after. It was my building. The predecessors invented the slipform construction technology and applied it to this project."

Thanks to the spring breeze of Shenzhen's reform and opening up, the Shenzhen Diwang Building project adopted the form of international bidding.

Lu Jianxin said: "From the Diwang Building project, we also learned a lot of management experience from Hong Kong. Hong Kong construction surveyors worked with us, learned another construction method from them, and learned a lot. Valuable experience including equipment use."

When talking about the construction process of each project, Lu Jianxin was full of pictures when he explained the details.

At present, Lu Jianxin is following up nearly 70 projects in South China, and more than a hundred projects are under construction at the same time during the peak period.

Lu Jianxin and the team are mainly responsible for solving the technical problems of the project.

Lu Jianxin believes that the urban landscape is constructed by buildings with different shapes, colors, and heights, which are unique and more beautiful.

In the construction process, the application of new materials and technologies is very critical, such as the application of concrete with increasing strength.

"In terms of design, Beijing Bird's Nest, Shenzhen Ping'an Building, Guangzhou West Tower, etc. have all applied steel structures, and the architectural styles are very diverse."

Lu Jianxin laughed at the title of "Infrastructure Madness" given to Chinese architecture by the outside world.

He believes that China's construction industry is not a waste of name, it is generations of Chinese architects with firm will and innovative spirit, in this great era, the pursuit and persistence of the dream of building a beautiful home.
