Chinanews.com, December 27. According to the website of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, recently, in response to media reports that Turkish Airlines has appeared on the Istanbul-Guangzhou route, which seriously damages the rights and interests of overseas returning passengers, the Civil Aviation Administration has acted quickly. Transport agreements and relevant domestic laws and regulations, the Central South Regional Administration of Civil Aviation is deployed to verify and investigate the relevant situation immediately. If any violation of the relevant regulations is found, it will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

At present, in accordance with the tariff clauses in air service agreements and agreements signed between my country and foreign governments, there are three ways to manage international freight rates, namely the "double disapproval principle" (the formulation and adjustment of freight rates are independently determined by the airlines without reporting. Approved by the governments of both parties), the "Country of Origin Principle" (the formulation and adjustment of freight rates need to be approved by the government of the country of origin of the route) and the "Double Approval Principle" (the formulation and adjustment of freight rates shall be approved by the governments of both parties).

According to the "Civil Air Services Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Turkey", the air routes between my country and Turkey are managed in accordance with the "dual approval principle".

In the next step, the Civil Aviation Administration will continue to increase supervision, maintain the order and price of the international air transport market, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of passengers.

The Civil Aviation Administration reminds that passengers should choose formal channels to purchase tickets and keep relevant vouchers to avoid being deceived.

If passengers discover price violations, they can promptly file a complaint with the relevant state departments.
