Bamou Village is located in the Shishan District in the south of Tianyang District, Baise City, 45 kilometers away from the urban area. It is a traditional village inhabited by Zhuang people. It was recognized as a deeply impoverished village during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. "One cent, one litian" used to be a true portrayal of this place.
In a small modern breeding base covering an area of about 500 square meters in the mountains, the 58-year-old Huang Qiqiang is preparing fodder for more than 50 cattle.
"Our family has worked as a part-timer for two generations. Now my son and I are developing breeding and tourism in the village, and we have also contracted some projects.
