It was reported at the meeting that from 0-24 o'clock on December 23, a new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia in Dalang Town, Dongguan City was detected in close contacts under centralized management.

From December 13 to December 23 at 24:00, a total of 25 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were reported in Dongguan, all of which were found in Dalang Town.

  According to Luo Xiaoyong, deputy director of the Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau, the new case notified in Dongguan on the 24th was included in the centralized management as a close contact on December 18. During the management period, several nucleic acid tests were negative, and the new crown virus was reported on December 23. The nucleic acid test result is positive.

  In order to strengthen the prevention and control of the epidemic, the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports issued the "Notice on the suspension of activities in cultural, tourism and sports venues in the city" on the 23rd.

The notice stated that for the precise and scientific implementation of epidemic prevention and control, the current epidemic prevention and control work will be further improved.

With immediate effect, the city’s Internet service sites (Internet cafes), entertainment venues (KTV, dance halls, amusement halls), A-level scenic spots, performance venues, fitness venues, cinemas, swimming pools, chess and card rooms, mahjong halls and other business units will be temporarily closed.

  From December 23, Dongguan's cultural centers, libraries, museums, art galleries, theaters and other closed and semi-closed public cultural and sports venues will be temporarily closed to the public.

In accordance with the principle of "non-essential and non-organization", the holding of large-scale gathering cultural, tourism and sports activities shall be strictly controlled, and the approval of large-scale commercial performance activities shall be suspended.
