The factory road is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024, and it will become another important communication channel between Dachang Hui Autonomous County of Langfang City, Hebei Province to enter and exit the Beijing City Sub-center.
The factory access road project is a key project for the integrated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation, with a total length of about 7.9 kilometers, including a new bridge across the Baihe River, named "Qihang".
The Beijing section of the factory road runs from Chunming Road in Tongzhou District to the border of Beijing, and is connected to the Hebei section of the factory road by the Chaobai River Crossing Bridge.
The Hebei section of the factory road is within the territory of Dachang Hui Autonomous County, with a total length of about 0.9 kilometers. It is designed in accordance with the standard of a two-way six-lane highway.
As agreed by Beijing and Hebei, in order to speed up the construction of the factory access road project, the method of "separate roads and bridges, and separate projects" was adopted, and the Hebei section of the factory access roads was divided into three projects: bridge approach engineering, bridge engineering, and public security checkpoints. At present, there is only one passage between Dachang, Langfang, Hebei, and the sub-center of Beijing city, Wuxing Road, through the Youyi Bridge in and out of Beijing.
After the opening of the factory road, the distance from Dachang to the core area of Beijing's sub-center will be shortened by about 4 kilometers, providing more travel options for commuters to travel between Beijing and Hebei.
At present, there are 10 roads connected between Beijing City Sub-center and Beisan County of Langfang, Hebei (Sanhe City, Dachang Hui Autonomous County, Xianghe County), 4 of which are expressways, namely Jingqin Expressway, Jingha Expressway, Tongyan Expressway, Capital Ring Expressway.
The construction of the Beijing and Hebei sections of the plant’s roadway started at the same time, realizing a new working model of integrated design, integrated construction, and integrated management in key engineering projects in Beijing and Hebei Province.
