According to the document, the regulatory bodies of the constituent entities can set tariffs for electricity with "additional differentiation" in terms of consumption volumes and population groups.

At the local level, a minimum consumption may also be set, which can be obtained at a discounted rate.

The update concerns government decree No. 1178, which previously allowed price differentiation only in Crimea and Sevastopol.

As the newspaper "Kommersant" previously wrote, the tariff bodies of the regions will have to be guided by the "methodological instructions" of the FAS, which will be developed within two months.
