Yesterday, Emirates NBD announced the provision of voice banking services through the “Amazon Alexa” application in the UAE, indicating the availability of the “Amazon Alexa” application through the “App Store” and “Google Play”.

In a statement, the bank stated that customers can activate the banking services feature on the application to obtain the latest information on their bank account and credit card transactions from the bank, through voice commands in the spoken language, in addition to enabling them to listen to the latest developments in the markets through any device that supports “Amazon Alexa.” Pointing out that the new service is available in both Arabic and English.

He pointed out that this service comes within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the bank to provide banking services that enrich the customer experience, and harness the application programming interfaces that have been established, in line with the standards of open banking services, to allow the exchange of financial information between banks and other service providers such as “Amazon”, and compliance At the same time to the highest standards of security and privacy of users.
