Adapted to the LMDh regulations of the World Endurance Car Championship (WEC), the Porsche is based on an existing chassis supplied by the company Multimatic.
It will compete alongside the car entered by Audi in international events and at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The regulations provide that this prototype will embed a hybrid mechanism whose power is capped at 670 hp.
As for the bodywork, it has a "house" design according to very precise requirements dictated by the regulations.
Drivers Dane Cameron and Felipe Nasr have already been announced.
The car will be lined up by the American team Penske.
