China News Service, Erlianhot, December 17 (Li Aiping and Liang Xiaohong) China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Corporation Erlian Station reported on the 17th that since this year, the China-Europe railway at the most mainland port of China and Mongolia, the Erlianhot railway port, officially broke through 2,600 trains.
On December 17, a China-Europe freight train carrying 50 TEU containers and a cargo weight of 663.83 tons drove to Russia's Hovlino station after customs clearance procedures were completed.
This train is the 2609th China-Europe train entering and leaving the country via Erlianhot Railway Port this year.
The Erlianhot Railway Port is located in the north of my country. It is not only the most continental port of China and Mongolia, but also an important node city in the construction of the “Belt and Road” and the “China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor”. An important channel for domestic goods exports to Mongolia, Russia and other countries.
According to the railway department, there are currently 54 China-Europe trains running through the Erlianhot Railway Port, and the number of import and export commodities has increased to more than 100.
